Any of you guys have an Alexa/Echo? Wouldn't mind getting some feedback on a crypto price skill I just got published.
Most Alexa skills for crypto prices are heavyweight (long awkward responses) and it is painful to get multiple crypto prices. You have to say something like "Alexa, ask 'crypto prices' for the price of Bitcoin". You have to repeat the same command for each crypto you want. And the voice recognition for crypto names isn't exactly great so it can get very annoying.
The skill I made, called Coin Kitty, is pretty simple. You have to enable it one time: "Alexa, enable Coin Kitty". (You can also search for it under "Coin Kitty" in the Alexa app Skills section).
After that whenever you say "Alexa, open Coin Kitty" it will read out the current prices for all your favorites (defaults to just BTC). But you can add/remove the top 20 cryptos to your favorites with your voice ("Alexa, ask Coin Kitty to add Litecoin to my favorites").
The idea is its okay if it's a bit painful to get it set up the first time (adding all your cryptos to the favorites) because 99% of the time after that you just have to say "Alexa, open Coin Kitty" and you get all prices in a crisp quick response.
Wouldn't mind getting your feedback on it - I really felt a good price checker was missing on Alexa and I think you guys are a great representation of the group of people I'm trying to build this for. Would love feedback (on here and/or on the Alexa skill store).
